Ohio Natural Law Party Statement of Purpose

The Ohio Natural Law Party has a vital role as a political party because it gives public voice for forward-looking, prevention oriented, proven solutions to Ohio's problems that are in accord with Natural Law. Examples of such topics are in nonpolluting energy forms, agricultural sustainability, nonviolent conflict resolution, and universal preventative health care for all.  (See the Ohio NLP Platform for complete list)

• Keep our foremost attention on establishing and maintaining world peace, and secure the dignity of all persons.

• Offer support for and vehicle for NLP candidates as well as other candidates who find themselves aligned with the Ohio NLP platform.

• Offer an alternative choice in a two-party dominated system.  Work to change the system with complete campaign finance reform, fair ballot access, and equal media coverage for all candidates.

• Promote the connection between the ideals of natural laws and political activity, reinforcing the link between developing consciousness and developing government.

While there is a suspension of the National NLP activities, the spirited Ohio NLP activists are enlivened by our recent progress and are committed to building a peaceful, harmonious world, the dignity of all living things, development of human consciousness, and more closely aligning human-made laws with natural laws.

As Ohio goes, so goes the Nation.
