State of Natural Law July 3, 2007.
Report from Comfest.

Is this the same planet as last year?

If you were at the Comfest Booth on June 22-24, you may not think so. The attitudes, attention level and questions were at such a different level this year that it seemed like we were tabling at a different planet!! Let me explain.

Even as we were setting up the booth at Comfest this year we were getting questions and statements of curiosity from visitors. One after another, all three days, the visitors were engaging, supportive and even knowledgeable of The Department of Peace and Congressman Dennis Kucinich. Some comments were actually deeply profound addressing unified physics and the philosophy of Natural Law.

More people were asking “What is Natural Law” and willingly forcing dollars into the donations jars. This has not been seen before.

After each visit, I’d step away in a state of euphoria, realizing how much different the contacts have become. Our secretary, Terri Zins commented about how amazing the conversations are this year and that the topics and discourse in this tent today are transforming the world. I could tell by the glow on her face that it was very satisfying for her to be tabling at Comfest this year.

Objectively we can measure our success. Besides many great contacts, we received over $200 in donations (where in the past, donations were less than $15 per day). We also collected over 240 signatures of people who are asking Senator Sherrod Brown to introduce the Senate Version of the HR 808 Department of Peace Bill. (see www.thepeacealliance.org) This is quite a lot considering we really weren’t pushing signatures as in a ballot access campaign.

Something is shifting. Certainly, the current mood of the public is more positive. Perhaps it is from the November election, but beyond this, at a deeper level, we can conclude that if this outer level has shifted, something deep within the realms of Consciousness has also shifted. This mechanics of natural Law… that the outer depends on the inner, suggests that the Unified Field is more lively.

We may give credit to many of us, those of peaceful intentions, those of us practicing techniques of consciousness, those who act to protect justice, the environment and world peace. The only quantified study I know of (and there are probably more) is this one documenting the shift in consciousness and targets 2000 practicing in one place as a critical number for a major shift in U.S. consciousness. Visit http://www.invincibleamerica.org/faq.html#why for an explanation.

Peace action is lively around the country and we are a small but important part of this project. NLP is actively supporting the U.S. Department of Peace Bill # HR 808 and the Dennis Kucinich campaign for President 2008. We have not declared our endorsement, but many of us are working individually for him. Watch for these two active campaigns as the 2007 Fall calendar rolls around.

Next event: Garage Sale and NLP statewide meeting, Saturday, July 21, Columbus.
